General Relativistic Resistive Magnetohydrodynamics: Formulation and Applications

Abstract
I will discuss our numerical implementation of the general relativistic resistive magnetohydrodynamics equations. Then, I will explain how our scheme is able to treat the stiff terms that appear in the equations in regions where electrical conductivities are large. Finally, I will report on applications to magnetized non-rotating relativistic stars and also show preliminary results of magnetized neutron star binaries.
